Would these events turn out this way in history if rome survived? What do you think?

Rome would never ally itself with Persia, they were perpetual enemies, Romans already have enough problems managing a huge empire consisted of difference ethnic groups, it barely have the strength to go to war with any country out side its sphere of influence.
