Is there hope for my wet phone?

Hi! Well... I was an idiot and forgot to take my phone out of my shorts before i put them in the wash. The good news I guess is that it was only in there for about 1 minute before I remembered. So, I took it out, took out the battery, SIM, and memory card, and put it in a bag of rice without ever turning it on. The battery doesn't seem wet at all (on the outside at least) and neither does the SIM or memory card. So, do you think my phone will survive? It is a pantech impact, and Ive only had it for about a month or too. Also, how long should i keep it in the rice, I leave for the beach the day after tommarow. Please and thank you!!
