My dog is Gnawing her self till she bleeds!!! ?

When I got home from school, I noticed there was blood all over her!! Mostly around her neck and her feet her bloody.... We have just been told she has fleas. We had a collar on her but we thought it was better so we took it off. And I don't no what to do now!! My dog seems like her self but....
