Can bunnies eat bamboo leaves & have you tried giving them it ?

Okay so I have 3 bamboo plants in my yard and I really want to know if i can feed the leaves to the rabbit. Is the bamboo stalk or w/e u call it safe for the bunny to gnaw on to wear down the teeeth?
